October 2000 - February 2001: Contract editor for digitalFOTO, a national consumer print magazine. I worked in-house at the magazine for about one-fifth of this period and assigned and/or edited 8-10 features and numerous smaller pieces. February - April, 2000: Contract editor for Cornerhardware.com, a now defunct web retailer, working alternately on-site and from home doing style edits of hardware-oriented features and a web-based hardware product catalog. 1985 - Present: Freelance photographer, photography teacher, photographic consultant. I've published many scores of photographs in publications such as Newsweek.com, digitalFOTO magazine, and Rob Galbraith DPI. 1991 - 1999: Nikon Inc., Sales and Technical Representative, San Francisco, CA. I was responsible for sales and marketing of Nikon photo products for the Northern California/Nevada/Utah territory. Annual sales volumes were typically in the range of (U.S.) $4-6 million.
